Father hunger has been identified in children that are painfully gripped by emptiness. A gnawing deep within a child’s spirit and a continual craving to experience love from one’s father. Fatherlessness does not only affect single parent homes, but our entire community, or cities, and our world. One-in-five children under the age of 18 in the United States live with a single mother.

Nightmares, bed wetting, withdrawal, fear, anger, anxiety, violence, stress, poor grades, gangs, drugs, alcohol. These are just a few of the symptoms of fatherless children in America today.

75% of adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes
70% of juveniles in state-operated institutions have no father
85% of youth in prison had no father in the home
90% of homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes
71% of high school dropouts come from fatherless homes
