Abba’s is a ministry of Apostolic Life church, created to help 6-12 year old children erase the pain of a missing father. We want to encourage children in our community through biblical teaching and the testimonies of godly men sharing how they have overcome their own hurts, and disappointments of fatherlessness. THE PROBLEM
85% of youth in prison had no father in the home
90% of homeless and runaway children are from fatherless homes
71% of high school dropout come from fatherless homes
75% of adolescent patients in chemical abuse centers come from fatherless homes
70% of juveniles in state institutions have no fathers
Approximately one-in-five children under the age of 18 in the United States live with a single mother
THE SOLUTION A relationship with Jesus Christ is the solution. Abba’s is dedicated to helping children discover a sense of belonging, comfort, hope, and peace in knowing God as Abba Father. Bring your 6-12 year old children and join us on Thursday evenings from 7-8:30 p.m. at Apostolic Life in Urbana. Snacks and activities are provided.
